Tent Studios is a home for creativity.
Fueled by Jon’s knowledge of residential renovations, and Jackson’s seemingly endless number of 80’s Spotify playlists they renovated the space from a dark and dingy warehouse garage, to their dream studio. The space is used by the owners, and is now open to a community of photographers, filmmakers, and creatives from all around the country. In addition to rentals, Tent is host to many local meetups, photo exhibitions and events fostering the local creative community.
Charlotte NC based photographer, Jackson Petty, has been developing his skills in fashion, product and architectural photography since 2011. After graduating with a Fine Arts degree from Ringling College of Art and Design, he has focused on photography as his artistic medium of choice. Informed by an in-depth knowledge of art history and experience working with a variety of clients, Jackson views photography as a language made of light and shape. Jonathan Berkon is a editorial fashion photographer based out of Charlotte North Carolina. Using his camera as a tool to evoke emotion through movement, space and light. Jonathans passion for building beauty started at a young age in different mediums, coming to.find photography as the perfect avenue to blend his creative processes together. Through his knowledge of construction he has built Tent Studios from a dark empty garage to a light filled creative escape.
